Beautiful day various trail types, great weather. Pomplona!!! Lot of time "wandering" in Pomplona

Also sports store, post office and phone recharge😉 Braga got new shoes,,, his feet were a bloody mess. Two guys bought bag liners. Lots of "STUFF" (3 bedrolls,clothes,un-needed misc) shipped to Santiago by various folks. Lunch in one of many parks. Watched protest at City Hall,,, got out of town!

Bill from Penn. that seemed to want to fit in, told his story.  2-1/2 years ago, he watched documentary on Camino. At the end he turned to his wife and said "are you crazy?'. She asked what are you talking about. He said you just told me I should do this. She swears she did not. He weighed 440 pounds. He started Camino at 230 pounds.

Bill from Cape Cod, 75, used to walk beach with wife and discuss "that walk in Spain". She died last year. I cried,we cried we hugged.

Hanz from Germany, 55 On his way back from Santiago to  home in Germany, full distance on foot. Started in December. Carried a bottle of moonshine he and his best friend made last spring. His friend died in October.

SPOT has been intermittent because of trees most of day. Looks like it worked well in open areas.
